Public Meeting Schedule

In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, all City of Pelham Council and Board Meetings are open to the public. All notices of meetings are posted one week prior to the meeting.

Board of Adjustments & Appeals

Meets on a called basis to consider variances to the Building and Fire Codes. Meeting notices will be posted at Pelham City Hall and online.  

Commercial Development Authority

Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to promote industrial, commercial, and retail development. Meeting notices will be posted at City Hall and online.

Library Board

Meets quarterly to review municipal library policies and procedures. Meeting notices will be posted on the bulletin board in the Library and on the Library page.

Park & Recreation Advisory Board

Meets on a called basis at the Park & Recreation Office at Pelham City Park at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of conducting municipal park and recreation business. Meeting notices will be posted on the Parks & Recreation page.

Pelham Board of Education

Meets the last Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Pelham Board of Education for the purpose of conducting the general business of the Pelham Board of Education. Meeting notices will be posted at the Pelham Board of Education and online.

Pelham City Council

Meets the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers at Pelham City Hall for the purpose of conducting general municipal business. In accordance with Ordinance Number 399-03, if a holiday or other conflict falls on a regularly scheduled meeting day, the city council will meet within one (1) week as determined by the council with proper notice given. The council work session generally begins at 6:00 p.m. prior to the city council meeting, but start times may vary according to the agenda length. The starting time is posted at the top of each work session agenda. Copies of agendas and minutes from council meetings and work sessions are available located under Document Archives. Meeting notices will be posted at Pelham City Hall and online. All meetings are open to the public, but they are not public hearings. Find more information on our City Council page.

Personnel Board

Meets quarterly to handle municipal business as it relates to employees and personnel rules and regulations. Meeting notices will be posted at Pelham City Hall and online.

Planning Commission

Meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of conducting municipal business as it relates to the zoning ordinance. Work sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. The agenda is posted at Pelham City Hall and online.

Storm Water Board

Meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of conducting business relating to stormwater runoff. Meeting notices will be posted at City Hall and online.

Water Department

Meets on a called basis to consider municipal business as it relates to the Pelham Water System. Meeting notices will be posted at Pelham City Hall and online.

Zoning Board of Adjustments

Meets on a called basis to consider variances to the Pelham Zoning Ordinance. Meeting notices will be posted at Pelham City Hall and online.
